plastik spitzen tischset handtasche - plastic lace placemat handbag

...

...it's even getting easier...two lace-plastic-placemats...two circles to be cut in the middle of the upper third of the placemat...both sewn together...a flower or brooch added...that's it...the lace-plastic-placemat-handbag.

das wird benötigt

...

this is what you need

- zwei plastik-spitzen-tischsets

- ansteckblume

- glas oder ähnliches als runde vorlage

- lackstift

- kleine gebogene schere

- büroklammern

- nähgarn

- nähmaschine

...

- two lace-plastic-placemats

- flower or brooch

- glass or any other small round object

- pen

- small scissors

- paper clips

- thread

- sewing machine

so wird es gemacht

...

this is what you have to do

...

- using the glass as a template, draw a circle in the middle of the upper third onto the placemats.

- mit dem zweiten tischset wiederholen.

...

- repeat the same with the second placmat.

...

- cut out the circles with the scissors.

...

- attach both placemats to each other using paper clips.

- darauf achten, dass die kanten bündig sind

...

- ensure that the placemats lie flush against each other.

- alle drei kanten absteppen

...

- sew along all three edges

- mit ansteckblume oder brosche verzieren.

...

- add a flower or a brooch.

...

...of course it works with any other placemats, too.

quasten teppichfliesen clutch - carpet tile clutch with tassle

...

...and one more handbag...and again easy to make and again made from an unusual material and still pretty.

i could have also done it from a placemat, but i decided to use a carpet tile...as it is sturdy, and self-adhesive, cheap and easy to handle.

...as i chose a huge tassle for the closure of the bag, i opted to skip a tradional fastener...and did not regret it at all.

the tutorial is so simple, that you actually won't need any...but i enjoy taking photos of the making, so you do get a short pictured tutorial antways.

i hope you do enjoy and maybe it inspires you , too...best regards...silke

das wird benötigt

- quadratische teppichfliese, tischset oder filzplatte

- stoff zum beziehen

- große quaste mit kordel (gardinenzubehör)

- sprühkleber

- schere

- nähgarn

- große büroklammern

- nähmaschine

...

this is what you need

- a square carpet tile, placemat or piece of felt

- fabric

- huge drapery tassel tie-back

- spray adhesive

- scissors

- yarn

- large paper clips

- sewing machine

this is what you have to do

...

so wird es gemacht

- die teppichfliese mit sprühkleber besprühen

...

- apply the spray adhesive onto the inner side of the carpet file

...

- place the fabric onto the sticky side of the tile

- den stoff fest andrücken

...

- press the fabric firmly onto the carpet file

- den überstehenden stoff zurückschneiden

...

- trim any excessive fabric from the edges

...

- fold one third of the tile inwards

- die äußere stoffseite mit büroklammern festheften

...

- secure with paperclips

- mit schmalen stichen zusammen nähen

...

- sew along both edges of the fabric to be gathered

- das obere drittel der fliese umschlagen

...

- fold down the upper third of the carpet tile

...

- twine the tie-back tassel around the clutch to close it

...

- this is all you have to do to create a simple and stylish clutch...enjoy it

lunchbag handbag with handles

...

the pattern of a classic lunchbag...three placemats and two handbag handles...this is all you need.
...i chose a very simple lunchbag pattern and just added a few inches all over the pattern to make the handbag big enough to carry a lunchbag inside.
...in addition to the follow pictures you can find a detailed tutorial for the basic lunchbag.

i hope you are going to enjoy it...best regards...silke
